Job description

Hutcherson Construction is currently seeking a full-time siding installer or exterior carpenter
to join our growing team!

General construction knowledge, use of hand tools, and safety procedures, is a plus.

Assist with any exterior construction tasks including, but not limited to, installing siding, windows, decking and doors.
Assist in the removal of existing exterior siding, windows, decking and doors.
Ability to safely unloading of construction material
Ability to lift, position and securing materials and work pieces during installation
Ability to performing minor maintenance or cleaning activities of construction tools, equipment and job clean-up
Assist in safely transporting and unloading of materials, tools, equipment and supplies

Ability to follow specific directions; perform a variety of duties which may often change; work within standards of accuracy; perform repeated tasks; evaluate information
Ability to identify existing and potentially hazard work surroundings, including work conditions that are hazardous or dangerous to employees and report them immediately to team leader
Must have the ability to comprehend and explain safety policies and material instructions
Must have effective communication skills
Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time; lift and carry materials weight 50 lbs or more
Ability to work in varying temperatures
Must wear company's safety equipment
2-3 years of construction experience preferred
Must have reliable transportation
Must provide own tools for trade
